Restyling Hearts
Happy Wednesday ladies. Valentines Day is right around the corner and the stores are literally bursting with hearts. I’ve never been one to wear hearts for February 14th anymore than I wear Shamrocks for St. Patricks Day, but it’s very popular with lots of ladies.

I spotted this mannequin wearing a heart skirt and ivory sweater but the styling seemed off so I played around with some alternatives. The skirt has red, ivory, and pink hearts on a black background.
You may love to wear festive-themed items so I styled this skirt several ways.
For an office setting, you could pair it with a simple black top and neutral blazer. To enhance its playfulness you could add more bright pink with a cotton tee, and tie it at the waist for waist definition. In the center, I picked up the cream in the pattern and added a black cardigan. I would have preferred a shorter cardigan but there weren’t any in the store. In fact, there was very little black in the store which is a nice look for spring.
So what do you think? Do you love to wear heart festooned clothes and accessories to celebrate Valentine’s Day?
How do you wear it?
Thanks for reading and remember to wear what makes you feel confident.
