HOW SNEAKERS AND A DENIM JACKET CAN LOOK ADORABLE

This past weekend my daughter and my son’s family from Tennessee, all traveled to Alabama to watch a baseball game. It wasn’t hard for me to understand why my son and grandsons wanted to go to a baseball game, but I was stumped on why my daughter, DIL, and granddaughter wanted to go also. Especially since Montgomery, Alabama was a long drive for all of them.

Then, my daughter showed me this video telling everything about this team. After watching the video, I was bummed that I didn’t get to go too. Oh, my word, these guys have the best time playing baseball of anyone I’ve ever seen. I love baseball, but it can be boring with all of the balls, strikes, and walks. There is a long time between any action in the game a lot of the time, but I bet this team would be different. If you’ve ever gone to one of their games, be sure to let me know if I need to grab tickets.

How cute is this outfit??? I started to wait and put this outfit on my Hit or Miss Post, but I decided that it was too big of a hit to go on that post. I love everything about this outfit, and I hope you do also. The look is casual and comfortable, playful and sassy, and perfect for Spring and Summer.

We have to start with this Black Polka Dot Midi Dress with the Cap Sleeves. This dress is adorable, and I forgot to mention that it was flirty also. The empire waistline of this dress creates a very flattering look. The waistline hits at the smallest part of my waist, and then it flows away creating curves that I don’t possess. This dress comes in several different colors and prints, and I loved it so much that I ordered it in solid black also. I’m wearing a large, but I ordered the solid black one in an XL because it is a little tight across my stomach.

Don’t ask me how many denim jackets that I own. Lol! It is way too many, but I couldn’t resist this one by Wrangler. I thought that a jacket by Wrangler would be stiff and thick, and I wanted something for fashion, not roping cattle. The jacket may end up being my favorite denim jacket ever! It has some stretch to it, it’s lightweight and unlined, and I love the fit and style. I immediately ripped off the tags and you can expect to see this jacket a lot this Spring and Summer. I am wearing a large and it fits great.

Here is the view from the side that shows you the length of the denim jacket. It hits me around my hips, and that it the perfect length for me.

Can you tell that I got a GVM Dimmable Light Kit to take my photos? Usually, I take my photos with a ring light, and the one that I had was several years old. It finally got to where I couldn’t turn the light on, so I ordered this one instead. The fact that it makes my eyes look like they are sparkling is an added bonus!

I didn’t add much jewelry to my look. The only thing that I added was a pair of AVI Hoop Earrings that I wear all of the time. I’m sure that I also have on my 18 Kt. Gold Vermeil Cross Necklace, but it is tucked inside my dress.

I mentioned last week that I was searching for the perfect pair of solid white sneakers, and I think that I’ve found them. The Puma Carina Sneaker Leather shoes have a retro look, and since I am retro, I love the style. I had been looking at a pair of canvas sneakers, but they were too big so I sent them back and ordered these instead. This pair fits TTS, I am wearing my normal size 9, and I like that they are leather and I will be able to wipe them off if they get dirty. I have a pair of white canvas sneakers by Sperry that I love, so this leather pair will be a great addition to my wardrobe.

You sure can see the reflection of the light bars in my Ray-Ban Round Sunglasses. I bought these sunglasses last summer, and I wear them all of the time. But, I am ordering myself several “cheap” pairs to take with me on vacation. I’m hard on glasses, and the beach, sand, and concrete around a pool can damage glasses easily. I don’t want to take any of my good glasses to the beach or pool, so I’ve got these on order.
