Lil Nas X Just Showed Off His Shredded Abs While Dancing Shirtless

When it comes to getting the internet’s attention, Lil Nas X is a maestro. He first exploded onto the pop culture scene with his viral hit ‘Old Town Road,’ which spent a short eternity at the top of the charts thanks to his genre-hopping collaboration with country music star Billy Ray Cyrus, and the young musician has been spawning memes on a regular basis ever since.
When he dropped the music video for ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’, the lead single from his full-length debut Montero, nobody was expecting Nas to announce himself as such a provocateur: having come out as openly gay in 2019, the singer and rapper learned to pole-dance for the video, which shows him riding a stripper pole all the way down from heaven to hell (launching a thousand homages on TikTok), where he gives the devil a lap dance before killing him and taking his throne for himself.
He continued to court when he passionately kissed one of his backing dancers while singing the track at the 2021 BET Awards. Then there was the time he accidentally split his leather pants during a performance on Saturday Night Live. And who can forget the prosthetic baby bump he wore while promoting his album (an event which he then celebrated by posting a full nude to Instagram)?
After taking a short break from social media, Nas is back online. What’s more, he’s showing off how he has been able to snap back from his tongue-in-cheek pregnancy by baring his shredded abs in a new shirtless video. In the clip, shared to Twitter this week, he shares a sample of some new material.

He’s been teasing a couple of new songs on Twitter lately, including tracks called ‘Late to the Party’ and ‘Down Souf Hoes,’ which he promises will be a “strip club anthem.” Who can even predict what the music video for that might entail.
