HIT OR MISS WITH THIS UNUSUAL COLOR COMBINATION

Did I mention how much fun it is to travel in a car for 5 hours? I’ve been used to traveling by myself so much that I’ve forgotten the joy of traveling with other people. We only made it 9 miles before we had to turn around and go back to the house to see if we had forgotten something. Guess what? It was packed in one of the suitcases, so that was a false alarm.

The next time that we had to stop was about 20 miles down the road. We had to stop for a potty break, and since we were stopped, we decided to grab food also. Our 5-hour drive turned into a 6 1/2-hour drive, and we didn’t have a sit-down meal. Lol! I can hardly wait for our return trip home.

I posted a photo of me in this top last week, but I was only showing you the color of the lipstick. Today, I’m going to give you all of the information for the rest of the outfit. The Pima Slub-Knit V-Neck Tee is a great quality tee. I get asked a lot for my recommendations for quality t-shirts, and this one will be one that I recommend. The material is soft, it isn’t see-through, and I like the longer length. I ordered a large, but it is too big for me. I pulled the tail of the shirt through my belt loop to create a side tuck that takes up a lot of the extra bulk.

I’m carrying a Vince Camuto Corin Leather Hobo Handbag in an ivory color. I have several handbags by Vince Camuto, and they are all of nice quality. The only thing I would change about this bag is I would a longer shoulder strap. The things that I love about the bag are the leather, color, size, the printed strap, and the fact that it is on sale!

I’ve wanted to try Hudson Jeans for a while, so when I found the Nico Straight Leg Jeans in Titan on sale, I decided to give them a try. They feel great, and I like the style, but I ordered a size 29 and they are too tight through the waist. Even though the jeans are nice, I find them to be a little pricey, so I’ll link to some others that are at a better price point.

Now, for the unusual color combination, olive and orchid. Is this a color combination that you’ve worn before? Olive is a great neutral, but I usually think of it as a fall color. Orchid is a bright color, and it is one that I would consider a spring and summer color, although a darker orchid is a great fall color.

This olive cargo jacket is an old one, and I’m not even sure where I purchased it. Olive was a color that I would never wear before, but this past fall I decided that I LOVE this color. It is a great neutral and looks great with navy also. Here are some similar jackets at different price points, so there should be something for everyone.

You are probably tired of seeing me wearing the same jewelry. These accessories go with everything, and I wear them all of the time. I like trying new jewelry, but I’m also a creature of habit and will grab items that I know I love.

My Michael Kors Lillie Moccasin Loafers are a pair that I’ve had for years and I still love them. They are comfortable, and the vanilla color is great for spring and summer. These loafers go with everything including dresses and shorts. I’ve found that they run true to size, and I’m wearing a size 9.
