Happy Saturday! It’s another super hot day here today. Tomorrow’s forecast says 99 for the high! I am not feeling so good about what the “real” summer in Dallas will look like! Everyone who has recently moved here from California is in for a real shock! Speaking of, I know that Californians are used to higher gas prices, but I could not believe that I paid $66  for thirteen gallons of gas this week! That was sticker shock for me! Are you all noticing a lot higher prices?

Speaking of higher prices, our dress is NOT (it’s $215)! If you have weddings to attend this summer (or anytime), this is the most flattering dress to wear. I chose the dress in the Berry Blue (back-ordered until August) but have no fear because there are fourteen other colors to choose from! What makes this the most flattering dress? It comes in sizes from XXS-XL and has a built-in bodysuit that hugs your body perfectly (I’m wearing an XXS). You can arrange the fabric to hide places you may not love (like a constipated stomach…me!). I bought the dress in this beautiful Mint Green a few months ago. I learned something the hard way with this dress. Because it has a built-in bodysuit, do not put it over your head. Be sure you step into it. I did it the wrong way and got so tangled up that I had to have my husband help get me out of it.

This dress not only fits the bill for a wedding guest, but it makes a great cocktail party dress or a fabulous dress for dinner at the beach with a sparkly flat sandal. Traveling with this dress is a breeze! It has so many possibilities and works for any age!

I am wearing mine with a long leather blazer, silver heeled sandals, and this gorgeous rhinestone bag that can go from day to night.

What do you all have planned for the weekend? I start babysitting duty today for a few days. Baby girl has started crawling but really wants to walk. I’m going to be very busy and I hope my back can handle it because she is a big girl! I do have some reinforcements helping out (thank goodness)!
