HIT OR MISS WITH A JUNGLE PRINT TOP
There was quite a bit of excitement in the neighborhood yesterday. Joe was outside working on the patio, and I was in the living room working on a post. I heard a loud BOOM all at once, and then the house shook. My first thought was that Joe had done something, so I jumped up and ran outside to check on him.
I got outside just in time to hear him hollering at our next-door neighbor, “are you alright?” Then, I watched neighbors up and down the street walking toward his house. Joe was already there, so my daughter and I decided to check out what had happened. Our neighbor was fine but had a large fire burning outside his house. I’m not sure what made the explosion, but after we were sure he was fine, we started teasing him. One yelled they were bringing marshmallows, and someone else said they would bring chocolate and graham crackers. I just wanted to bring boxes since I get shipments in daily. Lol!
It is Wednesday, and that means that it is time for my Hit or Miss post. These posts seem to be a reader favorite since you get to comment on what part of the outfit works for you and your body shape and what you would change or leave out. This outfit is bright and colorful, and I love clothing like this. I also like neutrals, so there isn’t much that I don’t like. Lol! The Jungle Tie Front Tank would look great with so many colors, but I loved the look with my white shorts.
The tank is soft and silky and can be dressed up or down. I can see wearing this with a pair of jeans while out shopping, and you are bound to catch everyone’s eye. I’m wearing a size 1, and the fit is great for me.
I like wearing shorts in all lengths, but I’ve noticed from comments that you prefer longer shorts. Today, I’m wearing the 10″ Dobby Shorts in Alabastor. I practically live in white shorts in the summer, and this length hits me slightly above my knees. These shorts are lightweight and have a pull-on design that I love. I typically size up when wearing white bottoms, so I’m wearing a size 1 instead of the .5 I usually wear. You can see they are a tiny bit big on me, but you can’t see my panties. Lol!
I love these palm leaf earrings, but they have already sold out. It seems like Chico’s earrings are the first things to sell out.
This pair looks almost identical, so you are in luck.
You’ve seen me wear these White Beaded T-Strap Sandals before, and I’m still loving them. I also just got them in blue, and I can’t wait to show those to you soon. These sandals run true to size, I’m wearing my usual size 9, and they fit me perfectly. I just noticed that both sandals are limited in some sizes, so if you like them, check them out now.
Now for the fun part, is this outfit a Hit or Miss for you? What do you like, and what would you change?
