Great Kate Spade Picks From Nordstrom Rack

With cooler temperatures on the horizon, I’m thinking of must-haves and staples I need for the weather ahead, and the first thing that comes to mind is booties. Booties are one of my favorite fall wardrobe additions.

These suede Kenneth Cole booties come in black, chocolate and this great neutral taupe called concrete. The suede is soft, comfy, and the heel is nice and low. I paired them with a cuddly soft T Tahari Chenille pullover in driftwood. I find these neutral grayish/taupe shades coordinate easily with so many other colors in my wardrobe. It comes in 4 pretty colors, sizes XS-XL. I bought a medium. I also have my eye on these suede Eileen Fisher booties because I know how comfy hers are.

I added some Kut From The Kloth roll-cuff straight-leg boyfriend jeans. The hem is finished on these, so they can be unrolled. I’m wearing them rolled to an inseam of 26 1/2″. Unrolled, they’re  30 1/2″ long. They come in sizes 0-16, I’m wearing a 6.

I topped the look with this Kate Spade flap bag. It has a removable crossbody strap plus a shorter strap for over the shoulder. This bag is a terrific size…not too large and not too small and the pebbled leather is beautifully soft.

I swapped the jeans for these essential ponte pants, which are an amazing find! I’m a big fan of the look, feel, and ease of classic ponte pants. You can spend a small fortune on them, but I’ve discovered you don’t have to. These come in at a cool $29.97, and you can’t tell them from more expensive versions. The fabric is thick and stretchy, and the fit is great.

I’ve long been a fan of Lois Hill’s handmade pieces, and I’m thrilled to find that Nordstrom Rack carries some of her treasures. Her elegantly carved sterling is both intricate and striking. These are the Silver Scroll Star link drops.

I topped this look with my new coated, A-line Kate Spade Jacket. I bought the squid ink color because it’s such a great neutral. It also comes in brilliant pink, and a show-stopping yellow called school bus! Here’s the same coat in a fun leopard print. This coat fits so beautifully, and the coating will keep me dry in a downpour. It comes in sizes XXS-XXL, I am wearing a medium, so I can layer things under it.
