HOW TO WEAR WHITE CROPS AFTER LABOR DAY TWO WAYS

Labor Day is behind us now, and for a lot of women, that means they will no longer be wearing white. The no white after Labor Day rule is no longer a thing, but it can be hard to break a rule that our mothers and grandmothers told us about. Today I’m going to help you become a rule breaker by showing you two ways to wear white crops after Labor Day.

White is a color that is known as a “summer” color. White is a neutral that can go with anything, so why should we limit it to after Memorial Day until Labor Day? You might not naturally think of wearing white in the winter months, but these two outfits will have you rethinking the possibilities.

Black Off The Shoulder Sweater with White Crops After Labor Day

It is hard to beat a classic black and white outfit. Most of you will have a black sweater in your closet, and throwing it on with a pair of white pants is a great fall look. This Off The Shoulder Loose Boatneck Sweater is slightly oversized, which seems to be the style. The sweater is a nice weight and good quality, especially for the price. It comes in a lot of different colors, and I love the camel and dark green versions. This is a versatile sweater that can be worn several ways. I’m wearing like a boatneck in this photo.

Here is the look of the sweater worn off the shoulder. The sweater looks great no matter the way you want to wear it, but I would suggest sizing down. I’m wearing a medium, and I think a small would have been a better fit.

This is the look of the sweater from the side so you can see it’s length. It hits right at hip level which will cover the tummy if you decide to wear it loose.

I’m choosing to style white crops after labor day because they are something you might already have in your closet. The sweater would look great with white jeans or full-length pants, and you could wear it with any other color you like. These crops are NOT see-through at all. They are the SPANX On The Go Ankle Slim Straight Pant that has a silver lining technology. The inside of the pants is silver, so you can wear red panties if you want (instead of my boring nude), and no one will ever know. Normally, I have to size up when I wear SPANX clothing, but these seemed to run more TTS. I’m wearing a medium and they fit great.

This black and white outfit is one I would wear later in the winter. I still wear my white crops in the winter, but my other clothing is heavier for the colder weather.

I almost didn’t show this outfit since the Drapey V-Neck Blouse since it swallows me whole. It isn’t the blouses’ fault; for some odd reason, I ordered a large when a medium is my usual size. I think the blouse is oversized, so either order your normal size or size down for a more fitted fit.

The blouse is a nice length, not too long or too short. It is the Goldilocks of lengths.

Leather and Faux Leather are HUGE this year. You will find leather and faux leather pants, shorts, tops, dresses, skirts, jackets; well, you get the picture. The Faux Leather Blazer is one that I bought last year, and I had forgotten it was in my closet. To add a touch of fall, I decided to carry this Olive Green Satchel Handbag. This is a nice medium size handbag that has triple compartments to keep your item separated. I like a handbag like this instead of one large compartment. It comes with a removable strap to allow it to be carried as a crossbody, but I wanted to carry it as a satchel. The bag comes in several colors, including black alligator, which looks sharp.

Look how gorgeous these Scoop Ankle Booties are!!! I love this boot style, and they will look great with jeans as well as dresses. I wore these in yesterday’s post with a puffer jacket and wide leg jeans, and they really dressed up the look. These booties run true to size; I’m wearing my usual size 9, and they fit great. The boots also come in Cognac, and those will go with sooo many fall outfits.

I wore the same jewelry for both outfits. This is my daily jewelry, and I only change it up when I’m dressing up fancy. Then I have some other jewelry that I wear.
