Yesterday was filled with meetings, calls, and deadlines. I had my head down and worked as fast as possible, trying to catch up from a week of play. On one of my calls, I was asked what my blog post for today would be. I mentioned what I was working on, and she said, “you’re not doing something on the Lilly Pulitzer Sale?” WHAT?!?!

I love Lilly Pulitzer clothing and accessories, so I have no idea how I missed the upcoming sale. This is one sale I always try to shop at, and all of these photos are clothing purchased from past sales.

I want to give you a few tips if you’ve not shopped this sale before. All sales are final!!! When I’m ordering something, and I’m not sure which size I should order, I tend to size up. You can seam up a garment that is too big, but it is hard to fix when something is too small.

Next, pay attention to the prints and colors. A top may come in several prints, but only three of them might be on sale. Make sure that the item you pick is on sale or that you are willing to pay extra for the one not on sale.

If you are afraid to purchase because of not being sure about the size, buy accessories. I’ve purchased a lot of handbags, sunglasses, jewelry, scarves, and shoes from the Lilly Pulitzer Sales. These items make great gifts, and the prices are slashed a bunch!

Some items were limited, so I didn’t include them, but your size might still be available. Check out whatever speaks to you, and don’t forget to look at the swimsuits.
