Is it Friday already?! I have had so much going on in the last few weeks, and I can feel that I need to take some time to center myself, so that’s where you’ll find me this weekend! One of the perks of getting older is learning my own personal signs of burnout and being able to proactively take the space and time I need to reset and recharge! I am SO excited for some downtime and plan to soak up every minute. Have you had a busy fall so far?

I was at Neiman Marcus a few weeks back to look at a jewelry trunk show by Siena Jewelry. I was trying on a few rings, and the jewelry buyer at Neiman’s walked up and told me that if I was going to get one, it should be emeralds. She said emeralds and green are huge and will be going into Spring. As a redhead, I love wearing all shades of green, but I think emerald is a universally flattering color for everyone.

This spring & summer, I couldn’t make it through one scroll on my IG feed without seeing pops of green, whether it was a fun handbag, statement heels, or a fabulous green jacket. I am thrilled to say that this trending color has stayed on top through the spring and summer months and is now working its way into fall looks everywhere! We are over halfway through breast cancer awareness month and at the risk of sounding like a broken record: check your boobs, ladies! Please make your mammogram appointments, talk to your friends, and shout it from the rooftops! Awareness and early detection are so crucial, and if even one woman’s life can be saved through spreading awareness, it’s an effort worth making.
