On October 14, Halloween Ends—the final film in the David Gordon Green-directed trilogy and Jamie Lee Curtis’ curtain call as Laurie Strode—hit theaters. And it’s safe to say that Curtis is still celebrating. Wednesday, the actress shared a spooky throwback pic—in which she posed naked and in a bathtub—honoring her love for the holiday.

“I take HALLOWEEN SERIOUSLY!” she captioned the post. “From a #bloodbath to ENDINGS are a B*TCH, I mean WITCH! @halloweenmovie.”

In the photo, Curtis is censored by dark, murky bathwater, illuminated by the glow of dozens of lit candlesticks around her. Her hair is slicked back, and she wears a sultry smirk on her face. Alongside the pic, she shared some of her other favorite Halloween moments, including her in a Michael Myers mask and a couple shots of her wearing a bedazzled black bodysuit and witch’s hat.

Fans loved the homage paid to Halloweens passed. “Queen of Halloween,” one person commented. “Did someone say icon?” another added. “Hail the Scream Queen 🙌👑👏,” someone else wrote.

The long-awaited culmination of Halloween has been a moving experience for Curtis, from her final scenes as Strode to the overwhelmingly positive fan reactions. In fact, the franchise’s official Instagram recently shared a sweet video of Curtis watching supportive video messages from fans, saying things like, “[You’re] the greatest ‘Final Girl’ in the world,” and, “You mean a lot to myself, and horror fans and film fans across the world.”

The kind words made Curtis tear up immediately. “Thank you, guys,” she said. “It’s obviously hard, all of it is hard—saying goodbye, and nobody wants to say that. So, I won’t say that. I am just going to say thank you.”

She continued: “It’s a legacy that I’m very, very proud is attached to me and one that I treat with a lot of respect. So, Happy Halloween everybody, God bless you all. Thank you for everything.”

Curtis may be parting ways with Michael Myers, but we can only hope she has more horror films up her sleeve. Until then, at least we have 12 whole Halloween flicks to tide us over.
