Yes, We Do Have More Photos From Jonathan Majors’ Men’s Health Cover Shoot

Our November 2023 cover star is Jonathan Majors, the jacked actor who first captured our attention in 2020 with his performances in Lovecraft Country and Da 5 Bloods. He is set to blow up in 2023, when he will play boxer Damian in Rocky sequel Creed III opposite Michael B. Jordan, and threaten to dominate the entire MCU multiverse as the iconic comic book supervillain Kang the Conqueror, starting with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Majors levelled up and underwent a jaw-dropping body transformation in preparation for these roles, a physically grueling process which he used to help get himself into character. “When I look at a script, I look at the level of difficulty,” he told Clover Hope in his profile. “If it’s going to be easy, I don’t want to do it… When you see these guys, it’s like, Yeah, they’re fucking fit. But if you look at it, there’s a story there.”

In the grand tradition of Men’s Health cover shoots, a lot of the resulting photos are, well, a little on the thirsty side. So much so, in fact, that our editorial team had a difficult job whittling down which shots of Majors would make it into the profile. But that left a lot of excellent material on the cutting room floor, and we figured that because Majors worked so hard to sculpt that physique, it would be a crime if the remaining photos never saw the light of day.
