Christmas movies

Happy Monday, everyone.  Today, I want to share with you the wisdom of Christmas movies.

Yesterday, we learned that many of us are struggling with health challenges.

So, you may be joining me (and Mr. B) in watching holiday movies on several different stations.

Besides the obvious love stories,  Christmas movies often possess wisdom and encouragement within the different tales.

For years, I have noted some of the best lines which make me smile and Mr. B tear up...don’t tell him I shared that part with you!

He has watched more of these movies this past week than ever before.

Christmas movies

We all know watching Christmas movies is best with a warm beverage and comfy blanket.

A couple of years ago, we shared Hot Chocolate Recipes here.  Today, let’s look at the first one in this post HOT CHOCOLATE RECIPE #1.

I love to re-visit some of my personal favorites.

Whether it is chocolate or tea, let’s look at my favorite wisdom in Christmas Movies:

Christmas is like a baton passed down from one generation to the other.

Snowflakes are like kisses from heaven.

An angel in your house they say will guide your family along the way.

A cup of hot tea makes everything better.

You don’t have to see the whole staircase to take the first step.

It’s about the joy…not about being judged.

The smallest stone makes a ripple in the water.

Believe in the power of a wish.

Be adventurous and do something you haven’t done this Christmas.

The best gifts don’t have bows.

Just because you are an adult doesn’t mean you have to abandon being a kid.

Where there’s a wish, there is a way.

God gives the strongest soldiers the toughest battles.

Stop and smell the pine trees.

Remembrance like a candle burns brightest at Christmas

Life Is like a chocolate bomb….a little hot water makes it really special!

Did you recognize any of these lines?  I hope they encouraged you as we begin Thanksgiving week In the states.

Would you like to share any of your favorite lines from holiday movies?

I do not think there is anything “sappy” about focusing on joy and goodness.

Thank you for all of the kind words yesterday…healing continues, one day at a time.
