Because I love a good sweater blazer…
Let’s kick off the week with roundup of new (and perennial favorite) sweater blazers for women…
Sweater blazers and jackets feel like the perfect garment for how we live now. They’re a happy marriage of soft and structured, casual and tailored, relaxed and put-together. And they can be perfect for transitional season wear.
My sweater blazers and jackets are some of the hardest-working items in my wardrobe. They’re easy to throw on and go, and function as a third piece, which makes my outfits feel finished.
I ordered this textured sweater jacket from Ann Taylor the minute I spotted it. I just received it and couldn’t wait to show you. It’s a keeper! I’m wearing a Petite Small. If you want to be able to wear it buttoned, or for a more relaxed fit, I’d suggest going up a size. I love the double-breasted detailing and texture.
The color more of a bone or ivory than the creamy white in the online images, and it’s also available in Navy, in Misses and Petite sizes. It’s a wool-free cotton blend that you should be able to wear well into spring. For a limited time, you can save $50 with code DETAILS50, which brings it in under $100!

Here are a few more of my top picks…

An updated classic. The contrast trim on this sweater blazer is such a nice detail. (Even though the trim is black, the overall look reads as warm, so good for Springs & Autumns.) It’s also available in Black, sizes XX-Small to 3X. This style is more fitted; I’d suggest sizing up if you want to wear it buttoned. It’s lightweight and should be travel-friendly, also a great pick for those of you who have a more Classic style but casual lifestyle.
Here’s another “relaxed Classic” option, this bouclé textured lady jacket is a nice cross between a jacket and a cardigan. Sizes X-Small to 3X.

Winters, this one’s for you…welcome to the Magentaverse! This cropped sweater jacket is available in several neutrals too, but if you’re feeling bold, go for the Magenta. This piece is light enough to wear on its own as a top, but structured enough to wear as a jacket. Sizes XXS-XXXL (and almost all sizes still available in this color).
Winters, also check out the Bright Blue. Autumns, Coffee is your shade, and Summers, there’s a Lilac just for you!

While this style has been offered for a few seasons, I’m kind of loving the look of a longer topper again. This long sweater blazer is available in 3 neutrals, XX-Small to 3X.

This little fringe-trim jacket isn’t new, but always gets rave reviews, and is available in Misses, Petite & Plus sizes, in a few colors.

This is just a sample of some of the great sweater blazer styles I found, pop over to my SHOP page to see more!
