Popular Designer Inspired Handbags and Shoes for Less

22 total views

I love a luxurious designer handbag or gorgeous pair of name-brand shoes as much as the next gal, but sometimes my budget and I disagree with each other, haha! After sharing my last post in this series, I’ve had a lot of you asking for more trending looks for less. They say that imitation is the greatest form of flattery. So, today’s post is all about popular designer inspired handbags and shoes and how to achieve a similar but equally stylish look inspired by your favorite brands on a budget.

You’ll notice these pieces I’m sharing today are not knock-offs. Knock-off bags and shoes are illegal as they try to mimic designer items down to the stitching and logo. What I’m sharing instead are some affordable alternatives that can help you get a similar look by embracing a color palette, shape, and silhouette inspired by your favorite designer.

Chanel Inspired Quilted Bags

It wouldn’t be a popular designer inspires inspired handbags and shoes post without including Chanel. You all are probably familiar with this high-end luxury brand. In fact, at one point, people were saying it was better to invest in a Chanel bag than the stock market. (Check out these vintage Chanel bags for sale from Belk) Their quilted flap bags are a timeless and classic handbag choice. I thought this black handbag (under $30) and this tan one (under $20) were super cute and great options to get a similar look for less.

Similar to Burberry Bags

Burberry, a British designer, is well known for their signature plaid pattern, and now you can grab your own plaid bag without the Burberry price tag. I love playing with patterns when I put together an outfit, so this backpack and this crossbody would both be so fun to style!

Inspired by Italian Designer, Gucci

If you are interested in a Gucci bag but are a little short on funds, then This Gucci inspired crossbody, the perfect neutral, is a great alternative. I’ll be able to carry this all year long, so I’ll get my $30 dollars worth. You can see me wearing it in this recent try-on.

Similar to Gucci Marmont Bag & Saint Laurent Camera Bag

If you love the chevron stitching that you see on the Gucci Marmont bag and Saint Laurent camera bag, you will love these budget friendly handbags. Both are just over $20, and would be so cute paired with anything from leggings and sneakers to a dressy date night look! There are a lot of colors to choose from; I’m loving the stone color.

Louis Vuitton Inspired

Louis Vuitton creates some of the most coveted handbags out there, especially their iconic Neverfull tote bag. These bags are similar in shape, silhouette, and color palette to some of LV’s best sellers without making you break the bank!

Inspired by the Hermes Oran Sandals, this pair of $20 sandals is much more affordable compared to the close to $700 designer pair. They will be so cute with sun dresses when warm weather arrives.

Christian Dior’s slide sandals also sell for over $700! Lucky for you, you can get the designer look for (much) less with this pair from Steve Madden for under $60.

Similar to Tory Burch Miller Sandals

The Tory Burch Miller sandal is perfect for styling with all of your spring and summer outfits. In fact, you’ve even seen me own them! The downside? They sell for just under $200. If you love the look of this sandal but aren’t looking to splurge, try one of these affordable alternatives. I love this pair by Dolce Vita is similar to the new version Tory Burch put out a couple of years ago.

Similar to Loeffler Randall Shoes

You may see these gorgeous show stopping shoes by designer Loeffler Randall and think they would be perfect for your next wedding or big event on your calendar… until you see the hefty $350+ price tag. Luckily, I found a few similar pairs that I think are a pretty great alternative. I’m particularly fond of the slip-on since I don’t like straps around my ankle.
