My husband and I are both loving Emily in Paris on Netflix, and have just finished Season 3 which we binge watched. One of our favorite characters is Sylvie Grateau who runs the advertising agency where Emily works. Sylvie is a bad ass boss played by 59 year old French actress Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu.

Sylvie wears very little make-up, her hair is free flowing and natural (you know, that just had sex look). Sylvie  embraces her age unapologetically. Her breasts are not the perky 30 year olds but they look great and her skin is gorgeous but definitely that of a 50 year old. And — it all looks great on her because she wears her age with confidence.

What I love most about Sylvie is she gives BA50s and 60s permission to be our age with sass and confidence.
