Casual Spring Outfits To Look Good And Feel Great

5 total views

I promised to post about the rest of my Loft haul, and here it is for you today. These are casual spring outfits, and a few items from other retailers are mixed in. Most of these looks are casual, but you could use them as work outfits by switching out the jeans for a pair of dress pants.

Unless I mention otherwise, everything fits in the size I’ve ordered. Each photo has the links underneath, including the size I’m wearing. For sizing reference, I’m 5’6″ tall, weigh between 150-155, and usually wear a size 8 in bottoms and between a medium and a large in tops.

You can click on any highlighted wording to be taken to the retailer.

#1. Floral Casual Spring Outfits

Just because an outfit is simple doesn’t mean that it has to be plain or boring. Sometimes, simplicity is better when your clothing choices have details that catch your eye.

This floral top is super cute, and the fabric is textured; it reminds me of crepe. The top has short sleeves with puff shoulders that aren’t too large. I love the delicate floral print, and I’m also a fan of a v-neckline.

The “puff” isn’t too big, and if you look closely, you can see the texture of the fabric.

The top hits me at my hips. This is my preferred length unless I’m wearing leggings.

#2. Crochet Sweater and Jeans for Casual Spring Outfits

I love navy and white, but for some reason, it seems to be a spring color combination. You can wear this classic combination any time of the year, but it is a “must” for me during spring.

You can see that this Stripe Crochet Textured Sweater has a unique detail from across the room. I love the crochet sweater, and anything crochet is trending now. You can even find sandals, sneakers, swimsuits, and crocheted handbags.

This Straw Market Tote is massive! I took it to Arizona, and I could carry everything in it. I took it shopping, but taking it to the beach would be great. It is large enough to carry a book to read, a phone, a visor, a wallet, sunglasses, and a beach towel.

#3 Elevated Casual Spring Outfits

I love this outfit! This is how I like to dress most often. I call it elevated casual since it is still a casual outfit, but adding the blazer elevates the look. This White Double Breasted Tweed Blazer is one of my favorite finds this spring. I love the tweed material and the gold-tone buttons. I’m not the only one…I saw a photo of Kate Middleton wearing a blazer almost exactly like this one. I doubt hers came from Amazon. 😝

A striped sweater is a spring basic; ask any French woman. This Striped cable mockneck sweater has a cable knit pattern which is a detail that adds visual interest. Remember to always look for visual interest to keep your outfits from being blah and boring.

Accessories can make an outfit, so don’t leave home without them. Lol!

I chose to wear the same Dark Wash Straight Ankle Jeans and Slide Sandals with all these looks. These aren’t necessarily the best choices or even what I would wear if I were headed out the door. I might choose a pair of white jeans, dress pants, a skirt, or even shorts. For some of the outfits, I might wear sneakers instead of sandals.

#4. Bright and Colorful For Spring

I love a bright and colorful outfit in the spring. It helps to kick the remaining winter doldrums to the curb.

This Pink V-Neck Sweater is a classic v-neck sweater that can be worn in many ways. I love adding a button-up shirt or layering the sweater under a cardigan or blazer.

Adding the blazer gives the outfit a dressier look. I’m unsure why I decided to roll up my jeans with this outfit; it just looks weird. I was probably trying to give you a better look at the sandals, but don’t do this when you add a blazer…it ruins the look of the outfit.

This is a long blazer, and I love the look and fit. I wore this blazer with a dress to church, and it was perfect to keep me warm on a chilly Sunday morning. I originally ordered the blazer in large but sent it back for a medium which fits much better.

#5. Casual Spring Outfits That Are Simple, But Not Boring

We all need a grab-and-go outfit for when we need to get out the door quickly. This sweater and jeans combination looks perfect for spring and is one that comes together quickly.

The Drop Shoulder Boatneck Sweater has a ribbed detail that runs across the shoulders and down a tiny bit of the sleeves. Those with broad shoulders might not like the ribbed detail, but I thought it was a nice touch.

The sweater is long-sleeved, but you might need a jacket or a cardigan for extra warmth. The Striped Pocket Boyfriend Cardigan goes perfectly with the boatneck sweater and dark wash jeans, and it will keep you warm and stylish at the same time.

Just look at this combination…it is almost perfect!

#6 An Activewear Outfit For Spring

I’m not sure why I call this activewear since I will probably not be active. Lol! I love a comfortable and casual look for working at home, and this one works great for me.

Bright green is one of my favorite spring colors, and the navy panels on the sides create a thinner look for me. You can’t go wrong with navy and green; they are like peanut butter and jelly…they are meant to go together.

The panels are very slenderizing! They trick your eyes into thinking the person wearing them is thinner than they are. Yes, I have a few styles like this in my closet for this very reason.

I hope you enjoyed this Casual Spring Outfit post with multiple retailers. Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. I think it is because everything is blooming out, and the gray from winter is leaving. Adding new bright and colorful clothing makes me feel alive in the spring.

Isaiah 55:6-7

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
