Colorful Rain Jackets You’ll Love From Nordstrom Rack

I never wear red but our gloomy weather just keeps on giving so I decided to try a red raincoat to perk things up a bit. And while I was at it. I found a holographic one in pink that tickled my fancy.

This BCBGGeneration hooded raincoat has all the details you need to stay dry in a torrential downpour. The front zips and snaps with a storm flap. It also has a stand collar, straps to tighten at the wrist, and an adjustable drawstring cord to snug the waist and keep drafts out. This reminds me of foul weather gear, on a cuter level. It also comes in camel or black, but I decided to go for the red, and I love it!

I’m wearing the jacket over a geometric print blouse by Max Studio. It comes in four prints, and I’m wearing the sage and cream. This drapey blouse could be worn to the office and works just as well with jeans. My jeans are Madewell’s Perfect Vintage Black which is washed and appears gray. They’re a customer favorite and bestseller that’s made from Madewell’s Heritage Stretch denim that has an old-school look and a broken-in feel. They’re highrise and have a straight leg. They come in sizes 000-22-22W.

I’ve been a fan of the clean lines of Ippolita jewelry for years and snagged these teardrop earrings the moment I saw them. That’s the thing about Nordstrom Rack, when you see something you like you need to jump on it because the prices are so good, things sell out in a flash. Ipolitta designs sculptural pieces with graceful shapes that are handcrafted with precious and semi-precious stones.

These sneakers could not be more perfect for spring. They’re as comfy as my other favorite Ecco sneakers with the added benefit of being water resistant. They have a removable, cushioned insole with arch support and a flexible sole for lightweight anatomical support. That’s a win/win in my book.

Then I spotted this pink rain coat and was smitten. Is it Barbiecore pink? Not sure but it sure is fun. It’s got cinch-cords at the wrist and waist to snug up the fit and a hood for downpours. It’s shorter than the red rain jacket so you won’t get as much protection from the elements, but it’s perfect for spring.

This Guess rain coat also comes in light blue, but I could not resist this bubblegum pink. The fabric has a holographic-type sheen that’ll sure keep you visible in the rain. My jeans are a high rise straight crop by Hudson. These are a super soft cotton with a touch of spandex and come in sizes 000-16.

I’m wearing it over this colorblock wool sweater in shades of gray, ivory, and lavender. It also comes in a black/gray/red combo. It’s a very soft wool/cashmere blend in sizes 00-16W. My Vince Camuto crossbody is sold out in blue, but they’re still stocked in black or tan. It’s very roomy and amazingly lightweight for the amount of things it will hold. It’s got an adjustable shoulder strap plus lots of inner and outer pockers to keep you organized. It’s also got a detachable airpod case so you always know where they are.

You’ve spoken so highly of Skechers. I decided to get a new pair and these happen to coordinate with my sweater. They’re the On The Go Flex Wonderous slip on sneakers that come in three colors, sizes 5-11. They have a knit mesh upper and “an Air Cooled Goga Mat® insole” which is super cushiony. These have a very flexible sole with an extra cushiony midsole.
