Hello Ladies, Between horrific tragedies that hit close to home and health developments with someone close to me, this has been a heavy week. In the modern world of social media, we’re either bombarded with all the bad things in the world, or we’re being inundated with toxic positivity that doesn’t leave room to feel anything else.

It all became too much at one point, so I turned off my phone to sit and feel. I opened my mind to my emotions and held space for all the worry, anxiety, and sadness that burdened my heart, and guess what happened? After some time and prayer, I felt the heaviness lift, and I felt that space fill with something much more powerful; Hope. I hope for a better world for my grandchildren to grow up in. If you’re also struggling this week, I encourage you to acknowledge those emotions and hold space for them – it can make a difference.

FRIDAY FINDS

To distract myself, I went down an absolute rabbit hole of online shopping and filled my cart in record time. I was inspired to share some of these finds with you today in this “Friday Finds” blog post!

I was craving some bright, bold colors to offset the dark cloud over me, leading me to these absolutely darling throw pillows in every color of the rainbow. This necklace from Revolve was also calling my name. How precious are all those dainty flowers?

I found this shimmer body oil from Sunday Riley with tons of rave reviews in the beauty department. It’s called “fairy godmother” body oil, so here’s hoping it grants my wish for that sunkissed glow!

Of course, I’ve still got summer on my mind, and with the changing seasons, I’ve been looking at my backyard space, thinking I need to change it up a bit. These adorable patio chairs (which look great in person) might be the ticket! I’ll try to remember (keyword -try) to take before and after pictures to share once they arrive.
