How Would You Style This Dress

Happy Saturday, ladies. I’m home from Mexico and feeling pretty lucky we’re getting a string of nice-ish weather. I wouldn’t call it balmy, but it’s nice enough to get out for a walk and break out my white jeans. Our flight was delayed several hours coming home, so we didn’t crawl into bed until way past midnight and have vowed never to fly through LAX again…let’s see how long that lasts because it’s a pretty important hub on the west coast.

It’s time for our weekly discussion on fashion. Each week my friend Pam and I share a mannequin we’ve seen and ask how you might wear what it’s modeling. Last week we discussed Ikat pants, which many of you loved!

This week, I want to hear your thoughts on Chico’s 40th Anniversary Ikat Clip Dot Dress. It’s a lightweight rayon blend that’s flowy, graceful, and available in both petite and regular.

Chico’s started as a very bohemian brand with lots of ethnic prints. Over the years, they’ve added neutrals and some classic pieces, but they love to go back to their roots, as in these Ikat patterns. I don’t wear a lot of bohemian items, but these earrings caught my eye. Here are a few other fun pieces in this current collection:
