CROPPED BLAZER

CROPPED BLAZER

Hello, ladies! How is everyone doing? Are you surviving “Maycember”? Maybe you haven’t had a crazy month, but mine has been pretty wild. I remember when my kids were in school, and May was busier than December. Thankfully, I am out of the most active part and hope the next few weeks will be fun and relaxing. I am traveling (with my mom) on Saturday to Los Angeles to see the grandbaby girls. My mom has yet to meet the new one, so I am very excited to take her. We FaceTime often with my daughter, and I can’t believe how much the baby has grown.

Today, I am showing a trend that I have shown before (here with my favorite girls), but I think it is fun for a change of pace, which is a cropped blazer. You know I am a blazer girl if you have followed me for a while. I think a cropped blazer is a fun alternative to the boxy boyfriend blazers we have seen lately. Cropped blazers are incredibly chic and modern and a great option if you are a petite girl, but they can also make you look taller and slimmer.

I am wearing a linen cropped blazer from Evereve in a lined linen-blend fabric. This blazer is a great piece to add to jeans, trousers, or skirts. The trick to looking taller and slimmer is to keep your tops more form-fitting and tucked in. I am doing that with a ribbed tank. A tank, cami, or tee works with this blazer style, but be sure to tuck it in. I am wearing the blazer with high-rise sailor flare jeans with patch pockets. These are my favorite pair of off-white jeans that happen to be ON MAJOR SALE and available in lots of sizes. I am 5’6′, and these give me a long, lean look. I can’t believe they are available and on major sale!

I got the patch test done on my back yesterday (to find out what ingredients I am sensitive to) and can’t get my back wet for 72 hours. I hope this will help me figure out what has been causing all of these rashes and itching. If anyone remembers watching “The Night Of,” the attorney had a horrible eczema problem, and I feel like he did! I am ready to get rid of this!

I am headed to a fun event tonight for the official launch of AERO, the future of first-class airlines. I missed the flight over Dallas a few weeks back to experience it firsthand, but hoping we get to tour the plane. I will put it on my Instagram stories if we get to take a peek.

Wishing you all a fantastic day! Stay well and Be safe! xx
